Hello, my name is Elizabeth Brown.
I have always been a big lover of art. Drawing most days and inventing my own little comic strips and painting my beautiful dog Patch and lizard Sykes. During school, I achieved an A* in my A levels but my love for animals far out weighed my passion for art. Come 2016 I finished my degree in animal management and then began furthering my education at the University of Chester completing the animal behaviour course. I absolutely loved my time there but I always felt something was missing. I dabbled a bit with sketching but never really had the time to do any art work.

During 2018, me and my (now husband) William decided we wanted to leave home and start our life together in a new town. With my new found freedom I had more time to myself and got stuck into doing loads of sketches i.e. the 100 heads challenge as well as just filling up a sketchbook. I found it very difficult after so long but I pushed on and found that love and passion I once had with creating art and bringing things to life. It was during this time that William suggested I try painting his dogs. Unbeknownst to me, he was plotting on giving it as a present. Thankfully it turned out well and his parents were over the moon with it. It now sits proudly in their living room, a constant reminder to me how cunning my future husband is going to be.
As time passed I got more and more requests from his family, and later friends, and friends of friends. I developed my current logo randomly drawing my dog Patch’s silhouette and fell in love with it immediately. As another nod to my beautiful sweet heart who unfortunately passed away in 2019 I made my tag name on Facebook and Instagram artimals05, 2005 being the year he was born, I am thrilled that things have just grown into this little blooming business. At the moment I’m not sure where I plan to take it, but I am very excited to find out.
Missing you every day Patchy Poo x
